Induction heating equipment is a unit converting electrical energy into heat by means of electromagnetic induction. The AC input power (220V/380V/415V/660V, 50/60Hz) is converted into the direct current through rectifier circuit, and then the direct current is changed to high frequency alternating current, the frequency ranges between 5-30kHZ. The alternating magnetic field is created when high frequency alternating current is delivered to induction coil, it penetrates the objects (iron, cobalt, nickel and other metals having magnetic permeability) to allow generating eddy currents. Heat is produced where these eddy currents flow, that is, inside the object. Through the inducting heating process, metals can be heated in a rapid and efficient manner.

The surface temperature of induction heating coil is approximately 60°C only, which efficiently prevents human from burn injuries and avoids the risk of high workshop temperature caused by large amounts of heat that is usually generated from traditional heating resistance surface.

In induction heater, the coils are wound up by high-temperature resistant wires that feature a good insulation performance. The coil does not contact the workpieces, can provide long service life of more than 10 years while reducing maintenance cost.
